Changing your plan
Plan changes are handled by us, not by a self-serve upgrade button. Here is how to ask, and what does and does not happen to your data.

You change your plan by telling us you want it changed. In this version billing is manual: there is no billing screen, no invoice list, no payment-method form and no upgrade button anywhere in the product. If you have been clicking around looking for one, you can stop. The left nav has three items — Overview, Programs and Customers — and none of them hides a billing page.
When to ask
The usual trigger is a limit you are approaching: another program, more customers, another team member, a longer view of your history. What your plan includes lists every dimension a plan sets, so you can name the one you need rather than describe the symptom.
Ask early rather than on the day it becomes urgent. Getting hold of us takes a message; the change itself is a setting on our side, not a migration.
How to ask
Send us:
- your business name as it appears in VivaPoints
- what you are trying to do, in plain words — "I want a second program for the new site", "we are at 480 customers and still growing"
- which dimension you think you need, if you already know
Getting support has the ways to reach us. You do not need a reference number or a plan name; your business name is enough for us to find you.
What happens to your data
Nothing is deleted. That is worth stating plainly, because a plan change is exactly the moment people brace for losing something.
Your ledger — every point ever issued, spent or corrected — is permanent, and every balance is derived from it. Your members stay members, their balances stay their balances, and your programs keep running while the change happens.
What a plan change moves is access to a capability, not history. If your history window goes from 24 months to 6, the older lines still exist and balances are still calculated from all of them. You simply see less of the record on screen until the window widens again. The same logic runs the other way: raising a limit does not backfill anything, it just stops the ceiling being in your way.
A worked example. A salon on a two-program limit opens a second site and wants a third program. They ask, we raise the limit, they build it. Their 812 existing members, those members' balances and their Outstanding liability figure are all exactly what they were an hour earlier.
There is no payment form inside VivaPoints and nowhere in the product to type card details. If a page claiming to be VivaPoints asks you for them, it is not ours.
